This is my very first blog ever, as well as my second language, so please bear with me.
It's not a secret that most students are living on a somewhat tight budget, cost of living and tuition strain a lot of students wallets. Most people have been there and it’s not always a pleasant experience. Universities are aware of these struggles and most of them include a buss pass in their tuition, enabling students to take advantage of a fairly cheap mode of transportation.
On one of those bus rides home I realized today how many different characters and people are actually using this mode of transportation. On this single bus ride alone, there was the mother with her two kids. The older lady with the hat and the purse. The parking enforcement officer and even a businessman with his suit and laptop. While every one of those people might have entirely different reasons for taking the bus, there is the one fact that brought those people together: They all wanted to get home, whether to be with their loved ones or just to leave work.
